From the moment they enter until they leave, each guest is immersed in a unique setting and influenced by the food, the drinks, the music, the interior. With about 40 employees, The Jane operates with a business structure that requires overall organization and stability. HIGH LEVEL RESTAURANTMANAGER
In this position you are responsible for everything related to the front of house. You are the point of contact for the team and you ensure an optimal course of service. Communication with the kitchen and guest contact are central to this. During the service you therefore mainly act in the role of host or hostess. In addition, you direct the team and provide the necessary education and training for the employees. You ensure efficient operation and pick up issues that are not going well with the right people. Reservation management is handled by the administrative department, but it is something that you follow closely. Your administrative part of the range of tasks mainly consists of personnel planning, recruitment, orders and possible support with projects.
Your profile:

As a host/hostess you ensure the first warm contact with the restaurant guests, you show them the way and you provide a professional point of contact during their visit. You are the most important contact person, since you leave the first and last impression on our guests. Perfect hygiene in the reception area, the right mood by means of candles, music and atmosphere, ... are your responsibility. You work together with a motivated team of hostesses, you are responsible for planning the working hours and drawing up the monthly schedules. We are looking for new team players to strengthen our first class team and uphold our high level service and experience. EXPEDITOR/ANNOUNCER
To provide a unique experience to our guests at The Jane, a Front-of-House team of 14 passionate friends takes care of a professional, yet playful and dynamic service every day. Expeditors make sure the orders are being well timed cooked, so that all orders for a table are ready at the same time and make sure that once the dishes are prepared, servers run food to the table while it's warm and ready. They need an excellent sense of time management, organization, situational awareness, problem solving and unwavering calm despite circumstances.

As chef de partie, you are responsible for your own partie (hot or cold side) in the kitchen. You have a leadership position, but are also part of the overall team. You will be involved in the preparation of dishes on a daily basis. If you are ready for it, Nick and his chefs are always open to creative input. Together, you can make sure you have the most complete experience possible. During your service in the kitchen, you will be responsible for the work in your partie and follow the guidelines of the chef.
